The corporation is organized to provide for the maintenance, preservation and architectural control of the common areas and to promote the health, safety and welfare of the residents within the Leatherwood Mountains Subdivision located in Elk Township, Wilkes County, North Carolina. The corporation shall also have those powers to do any lawful act which are consistent and in accordance with Chapter 55A of the North Carolina General Statutes, and specifically be empowered to do all those things enumerated in North Carolina General Statute S 55A-15, however, such citation is not intended to be exclusive.
